We are looking for an engineering project manager to join a growing family run business in Doncaster. The successful candidate will be working with the engineers and subcontractors, liaising with customers and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This is a hands‑on, site‑focused project role (not desk‑only).
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site visits and scope installations
- Plan and schedule engineers, electricians, and subcontractors
- Manage live projects and solve site issues in real time
- Be the main customer contact throughout the project
- Control costs, variations, and extra works
- Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements
- Oversee snagging, close‑out, and final handover
- Use CRM/job systems to track progress and documentation
Essential Requirements
- Experience managing installations/projects OR strong background as a garage equipment engineer
- Good IT skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Basic commercial awareness (costs, time, margin)

- Background in garage equipment, automotive workshops, or M&E
- Experience using CRM/job management systems
