Cost Estimating and Forecasting Analyst SALARY – UP TO £45,000! LOCATION – STEVENAGE, BRISTOL OR BOLTON What we can offer you: Company Bonus: Up to £2,500 (variable based on company performance each year). The role: This role involves supporting the Cost Engineering function by analysing, categorising, and recording costs within a centralised database, focusing on Weapon Systems, Munitions, and platform integration. Key responsibilities include normalising and cleaning NRC and RC data, establishing cost target brochures, defining cost bases for offers, and applying design-for-competitiveness principles throughout project life cycles. The role requires the ability to consistently and transparently categorise system elements for accurate cost comparisons and estimations. While deep expertise in all areas is not required initially, the successful candidate must develop a network of subject-matter experts to effectively fulfil the role. What we want from you: Experience working in Production and Engineering environments focused on Weapon System platforms (Maritime or Air) or Missiles. Familiarity with engineering and management tools such as SAP, P6, DRM, and MATRIX is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to enhance the credibility of cost estimating within an organisation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing diverse volumes of cost data is essential.
