Overview: A leading provider of detection technology, specializing in security solutions for cargo and vehicle inspections are looking for Commissioning Engineers. Thes Commissioning Engineers will be commissioning cargo mobile systems at the Stoke facility. The role involves testing safety systems, programming sensors, diagnosing wiring faults, and providing feedback to the Quality Assurance (QA) department. Key Responsibilities: Assist in testing and verifying that all safety systems are operational. Program relevant sensors to ensure proper system functionality. Help diagnose and rectify wiring faults using electrical drawings. Install relevant files and configurations on equipment under guidance. Provide feedback on wiring issues to the QA department. Ensure compliance with the company's core values: Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork. Report quality problems or defects to management to support continuous improvement. Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business needs. Experience & Attributes: Strong work ethic, energy, and a proactive attitude Experience in a production environment, particularly in design for manufacture, is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment Willingness to work extra hours when required. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Knowledge, Training, and Qualifications: Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification. Ability to use an electrical tester to check wiring. Forklift and scissor lift license (desirable but not essential). Experience in maintenance would be a plus.
