Key Responsibilities
- Assist the engineering team in the delivery and design of electrical packages for UPS and generator systems.
- Provide upfront technical support to the Engineering and Sales departments regarding electrical package specification and design.
- Take responsibility for specification and design of electrical packages from project handover through to completion.
- Develop design documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, procedures, and associated test documentation.
- Prepare technical proposals, submissions, scopes of work, and engineering studies.
- Attend Factory Witness Tests for generators and control systems in the UK and/or Europe alongside client representatives.
- Provide the necessary technical documentation for project operations and maintenance manuals.
- Support other departmental activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 3β5 yearsβ experience in an Electrical Design Engineer or similar with experience ideally in data centre projects.
- Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks (desirable).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems for critical power applications (UPS, generators, switchgear).
- Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, sales, and project teams.
