We are currently looking for JIB Gold Card Electricians to work on a major new-build resin manufacturing factory project. This is an industrial electrical installation role, with the project involving controls, cabling, PLCs and control-panel/rear-panel wiring.
Duties will include:
- Industrial electrical installation on a new factory build
- Installation, glanding and termination of power and control cabling
- Control wiring and electrical connections
- PLC installation and wiring
- Control panel and rear-panel wiring
- Installation and connection of motors, pumps, valves and sensors
- Working from electrical drawings and schematics
- Cable containment and associated installation
- Testing and fault finding
- Working alongside controls engineers and other site trades
Requirements:
- JIB Gold Card - Essential
- Proven industrial electrical experience
- Experience with control wiring and electrical panels
- Ability to read and work from electrical drawings and schematics
- PLC wiring/installation experience highly desirable
- Previous experience within manufacturing, process plants or industrial environments preferred
- Strong understanding of safe working practices
- Reliable and able to work as part of a professional site team
