We are currently recruiting Electrical Improvers to work on a major new-build resin manufacturing factory project in Llantrisant, South Wales. The project involves industrial electrical installation, including controls, cabling, PLCs and control-panel/rear-panel wiring.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting electricians with industrial electrical installation
  • Installation and termination of power and control cabling
  • Control wiring and electrical connections
  • Assisting with PLC installation and wiring
  • Control panel and rear-panel wiring
  • Installation of cable containment and cable management systems
  • Assisting with the installation and connection of motors, pumps, valves and sensors
  • Working from electrical drawings and schematics
  • General electrical installation and site duties
  • Working safely as part of a professional site team

Requirements:

  • 18th Edition - Essential
  • Level 3 Electrical Installation - Essential
  • Previous industrial or commercial electrical experience preferred
  • Experience with electrical installation and control wiring
  • Able to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
  • Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
  • Good understanding of health & safety on site

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Improver to gain valuable experience working on a large-scale industrial factory project, with exposure to controls, PLCs, cabling and control-panel wiring.
