Mane are recruiting a Switchgear Site Technician to join a well-established company based in Hove. This is a varied, hands-on role offering a mix of site work and factory-based assembly, with strong long-term prospects.
The Role
- Carry out DC Switchgear maintenance on site
- Assemble switchgear in the factory when not on DC maintenance work
- Support site work alongside AC switchgear site technicians
- Participate in an on-call rota, including attending weekday daytime call-outs (regardless of rota position)
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working with switchgear, control panels, busbars, or similar electrical systems
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering and circuit diagrams
- DC switchgear experience is not essential — full training can be provided
- Full UK driving licence required
Additional Requirements
Any job offer will be subject to passing a Personal Track Safety (PTS) standard medical.
