The General Labourer will provide essential support to skilled tradespeople, including steel fitters and mechanical fitters, to ensure construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to programme. Key Responsibilities
- Assist steel fitters, mechanical fitters, and other trades with daily construction activities.
- Safely move materials, tools, plant, and equipment around the site using appropriate manual handling techniques.
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials as directed.
- Prepare work areas to enable trades to carry out their work efficiently.
- Maintain excellent site housekeeping by keeping work areas clean, organised, and free from hazards.
- Assist with lifting, positioning, and securing materials under the direction of competent personnel.
