Mane Infrastructure is currently seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor to join our team on a major HS2 project in the Oxford area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the safe and efficient demolition of a 7.5-metre column as part of ongoing infrastructure works. This is a key supervisory role requiring strong leadership, strict adherence to health & safety standards, and proven experience within demolition environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate demolition activities on site
  • Supervise the controlled demolition of a 7.5-metre column
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications
  • Conduct site briefings and toolbox talks
  • Monitor compliance with HS2 safety standards and company procedures
  • Liaise with site management, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Ensure risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are followed
  • Maintain accurate site records and reports
  • Promote a strong safety culture at all times

Requirements

  • Valid CCDO Demolition Supervisor Card (Essential)
  • Proven experience supervising demolition works on large infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of demolition methods, safety regulations, and best practices
  • Experience working on major projects (HS2 experience advantageous)
  • SSSTS/SMSTS (preferred)
  • First Aid (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Working Hours: 07:30am - 18:00pm
