Mane Infrastructure is currently seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor to join our team on a major HS2 project in the Oxford area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the safe and efficient demolition of a 7.5-metre column as part of ongoing infrastructure works. This is a key supervisory role requiring strong leadership, strict adherence to health & safety standards, and proven experience within demolition environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate demolition activities on site
- Supervise the controlled demolition of a 7.5-metre column
- Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications
- Conduct site briefings and toolbox talks
- Monitor compliance with HS2 safety standards and company procedures
- Liaise with site management, engineers, and subcontractors
- Ensure risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are followed
- Maintain accurate site records and reports
- Promote a strong safety culture at all times
Requirements
- Valid CCDO Demolition Supervisor Card (Essential)
- Proven experience supervising demolition works on large infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of demolition methods, safety regulations, and best practices
- Experience working on major projects (HS2 experience advantageous)
- SSSTS/SMSTS (preferred)
- First Aid (preferred)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
