We\'re seeking a self-motivated and experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team. You\'ll play a key role in all maintenance activities, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring our customer\'s aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability.

Reports to: Base Maintenance Manager

Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:00-18:15, Friday 07:00-14:30

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out aircraft maintenance and inspection in accordance with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and published procedures.
  • Lead and supervise a team of Technicians and Mechanics during base maintenance checks.
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Keep Bay Managers and Production Planners informed of progress and potential issues.
  • Maintain high standards of hangar housekeeping and FOD prevention.
  • Manage aircraft component\'s correct storage, labelling, and serviceability.
  • Recommend improvements in processes, efficiency, and morale where appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Health & Safety standards.

About You

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years aircraft maintenance experience (including 3 years in base maintenance).
  • Valid UK CAA B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer\'s Licence.
  • Type rating & recency on:
  • Boeing 737NG / 737CL / 757 / 767 or
  • Airbus A320 Family.
