What you ll be doing Join us on this mission as an Assembly Operative working in our Fitting Shop at our Denham site.
You ll be undertaking a variety of processes including the assembly and inspection operations to produce and test cables, pipes, high pressure hoses and gun components as part of seat assembly that will contribute to the success of the ejector seats produced onsite, to ultimately save lives.
Aspects of the role include to: Manufacture cables and high-pressure hoses in accordance with the process specification including.
Selection of the specified diameter hose Cut to length using the tools and attach specified end fitting Cover in heat shrinkable material and shrink to PS417 standard Make reusable hoses using assembly/crimp machine and gauges Swage end fittings in accordance with the process specification and conduct proof of load in accordance with PS1109 Characteristics s and COSHH regulations.
