We are currently seeking an Analogue and Digital Electronics Engineer – Product Design Support within a Defence sector.
What the job entails:
- You’ll act as the interface between our design teams and our manufacturing teams while working alongside other support engineers to provide knowledge and support.
- The primary aim is focused on highly advanced, module missile programmes and subsystems.
- The role offers the candidate a true engineering challenge in their core discipline(s), whilst providing scope for personal growth and development in other areas of electronics.
- Working within design support is a highly rewarding role as you not only see designs coming to life in the manufacturing environment but you can help to shape the design of these products to deliver support to our customers.
What we’re looking for from you:
- Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience of designing products/systems and/or providing support to designs through the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.
- Proven experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Analogue and Digital Electronics.
- Investigative skills to be able to find root causes of electronic design related issues and propose robust corrective actions.
- Someone who will be prepared to work autonomously if needed, lead the delivery of your work assignments, and actively engage with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of your outputs.
- Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the capability to write clear and concise engineering documentation.
- Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment and supporting and resolving manufacturing issues.
This role offers:
- Salary: Circa £42,000-£48,000 depending on experience.
- Company bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year).
- Pension: maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%.
- Overtime: opportunity for paid overtime.
- Flexi Leave: Up to 15 additional days.
