Salary: £32,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements Demonstrated experience as a UX / Product Designer in a fast-paced digital product environment, with experience handling senior-level design complexity.
Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong understanding of how components translate to code.
Practical experience working within a product model and Agile/Scrum frameworks and ceremonies.
Proven experience preparing, executing, or analysing user research and usability testing.
Strong foundational knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and their practical application in UI design.
Experience leading, planning, and executing design thinking workshops or design crits is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities Lead end-to‑end user experience design, translating complex customer problems and requirements into intuitive, accessible digital journeys.
Independently drive the design pipeline from initial ideation to production‑ready output.
Produce strong design outputs including wireframes, user flows, low‑ and high‑fidelity prototypes, and component libraries.
Uphold the design system across Figma and Storybook to maintain a cohesive, scalable experience.
Review the work of others to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
Solve challenging edge cases and navigate complex user and business requirements.
Facilitate workshops and design crits to align cross‑functional teams and negotiate trade‑offs between UX, business goals, and tech debt.
Articulate design rationale clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Champion user research by formulating and conducting usability testing and interpreting user behaviour data and analytics.
Ensure all UI designs meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, business stakeholders, and third parties to support refined, scoped, and timely delivery.
Mentor junior design talent and contribute to internal design culture and knowledge sharing.
