The Opportunity: MandM is evolving how we deliver creative content, and our Creative department is looking for a passionate Junior Stylist to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Studio styling team with model, editorial, and still life photography for use across all customer touch points, adhering strictly to the MandM style guidelines. This is an incredible opportunity to learn onset standards and keep up with current fashion trends. Working alongside our experienced styling team, you will help bring our digital storefront to life while building your own professional portfolio.

The Role Scope: Reporting directly to the Stylist Manager within our Creative department, you will be based at our Head Office and play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our photography studios. You will work collaboratively with Stylists, Product teams, and broader Creative teams to ensure all visual content perfectly reflects the MandM brand identity and aligns with the aesthetics of our supplied brands. While focusing on core styling assistance, you will also build skills in imagery post-production and step up to provide studio cover when necessary.

Role key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the styling of e-commerce model photography.
  • Create engaging still life and editorial content for use across the MandM website product pages, homepage, emails, and social media platforms.
  • Work alongside Stylists and the Stylist Manager to prepare for e-commerce photography, including preparing rails of looks, organising footwear and accessories, and requesting additional samples.
  • Learn onset standards and styling techniques to ensure all work strictly adheres to internal brand guidelines.
  • Carry out the editing of still life and editorial imagery to a highly professional standard.
  • Assist with the post-production of model e-commerce imagery when required by the studio team.
  • Collaborate directly with the Product and Creative teams on styling for our seasonal campaign shoots.
  • Provide cover in the absence of full Stylists when necessary to ensure studio workflows remain seamless.
  • Support the Studio team with the day-to-day running of the studios, general organisation, and meticulous sample management.
  • Keep continuously up to date with current fashion trends and understand how to translate them effectively for the MandM customer.
  • Actively learn and adopt new technologies within the studio environment, including the use of AI tools.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times and manage all data processing safely and lawfully.

About You:

  • Creative Passion: You are deeply passionate and enthusiastic about brands, products, and fashion styling.
  • Detail & Work Ethic: An excellent work ethic matched with a sharp creative eye and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Pace & Organisation: Strong organisational and communication skills, with experience working comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time Management: Good time management capabilities with the clear ability to achieve daily and weekly studio deadlines.
  • Proactive Mindset: Highly proactive with a proven ability to show initiative on set and in the studio.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness and an active, up-to-date knowledge of the retail marketplace.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using Adobe Photoshop is preferred.
  • Education & Experience: Qualified to degree level in Fashion or a creative BA, or relevant experience in a similar role is advantageous—but this is not essential, as full training will be provided.
