Senior Sous Chef – Sporting Arena in Kent
My client is looking for a talented and hands-on Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations at a busy sporting complex in Kent. This exciting role oversees multiple outlets, from casual dining to premium hospitality, serving events such as corporate functions, conferences, and race day hospitality.
Working closely with the Catering Manager, you’ll help shape menus, manage kitchen teams, ensure top-quality food delivery, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver varied menus across all catering outlets
- Lead kitchen staff, ensuring smooth service and high standards
- Oversee event catering for VIP suites, restaurants, and functions
- Manage stock, suppliers, and food safety compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume setting
- Demonstrable background working in events and large scale catering is a big plus
- Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills
- Passion for food and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Full UK driving licence (essential due to location)
