Sales Manager – Print Industry

Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: circa 45-60k basic, OTE 100,000 (Uncapped)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

My client are leaders in providing high-quality large format print solutions and graphic services, catering to key markets such as Sport, Construction, Events & Exhibitions, Retail and Offices. Their innovative approach, combined with a commitment to excellence, makes them a trusted partner in the print industry. Due to significant new business wins they are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join their team to help drive continued growth.

As my clients Sales Manager, you will be pivotal in expanding their client base and nurturing relationships within core markets. Your expertise in the print industry will be critical in identifying new business opportunities, delivering tailored solutions, and achieving revenue targets. Additionally, you will have management responsibility for leading and mentoring a small sales team, ensuring high performance and cohesive teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Lead and manage a small sales team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Identify and build relationships with new clients and maintain strong partnerships with existing customers in key markets: Sport, Construction, Events & Exhibitions, Retail, and Offices.
Present and promote my clients print solutions to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure the satisfaction of all parties involved.
Collaborate with internal teams to align on client expectations and deliverables.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

Proven track record as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales role within the print industry.
Experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
Strong understanding of the print production process and industry standards.
Demonstrated success in selling to key markets such as Sport, Construction, Events & Exhibitions, Retail, and Offices.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
