Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
- Manage payroll processing, P11Ds, HMRC submissions, and statutory reporting
- Submit accurate VAT returns and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Deliver cashflow forecasting, daily financial updates and key business insights
- Support with budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making analysis
- Assist with year-end audit prep and liaise with external auditors
- Lead and mentor a small finance team
Requirements:
- ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Excellent knowledge of UK payroll, VAT, and HMRC regulations
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
