A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor / Sales Assistant to join this national distributor of products for the construction industry. This is a varied role which offers great progression and training and would suit someone with great communication skills who is looking to progress their career in sales and customer service.
THE ROLE
- Ensuring outstanding levels of customer service at all times both face-to-face and on the phone
- To maximise growth of sales within the branch
- Building customer relationships within the branch
- Answering general enquiries, advising product availability, delivery dates etc
- Issuing quotations in response to enquiries
- General sales administration
KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous customer service experience preferably within retail or trade environment
- Exceptional sales and customer relationship building skills at all levels
- Strong negotiation and facilitation experience with problem solving ability
- Ability to identify and understand business opportunities and build long term relationships with customers
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
