The Role
As Chief Engineer, you will oversee all engineering operations in a vibrant London hotel. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the building, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and leading a team to deliver the highest standards. Your ability to motivate, develop, and engage your team will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and mentoring the engineering team with a people-first approach, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Overseeing and managing the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) program to ensure all systems and equipment are fully operational.
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety regulations, fire safety and company policies.
- Managing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and contractors, ensuring service levels and budgets are met.
- Collaborating with other departments to support hotel operations and enhance the guest experience.
- Managing budgets and resources effectively to achieve departmental goals.
