Full Job Description
Overview: HGV Driver, 18 Tonne Driver, Class 1 or Class 2
We are currently looking for HGV Class 1 & Class 2 drivers to visit sites throughout the southern part of the UK to deliver and collect from our network of customers.
Responsibilities
- Delivering to specific sites and locations in a timely manner
- Collection from customer sites and returning goods to base
- Following instruction from the Transport Manager as required
- Conduct daily vehicle checks prior to leaving site and reporting any issues
- Comply with all road transport regulations including Tachograph legislation
- Ensure all safety measures are followed at all times in line with site requirements
- You will need to have at least 1 years’ experience, a clean driving licence, possess a good level of spoken and written English and a flexible approach to working hours.
Schedule
- 12-hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends/Bank Holidays
- Unsociable hours may be required
