We are looking for an enthusiastic accounts assistant to join our busy accounts department at our block management company. The role would include:
- Reconciling the various client accounts on our software system including reconciling property owner's service charge statements and development expenditure in line with allocated budgets.
- Assisting with paying and reconciling invoices.
- Assisting with credit control including chasing debtors and setting up payment plans.
- Assisting with answering account queries and issuing statements to property owners.
- Liaising with debt collection agencies on any debt collection procedures.
- Assisting with setting up a new software system and taking the lead with training and learning on this (Qube/MRI).
This is a great opportunity to be trained in a fast-paced accounts role whilst gaining experience in a busy and growing property management company. Although experience is not essential, some existing knowledge of Xero and Qube/MRI or other online CRM accounts software packages would be greatly beneficial, as would experience working with a property management company.
We are willing to support AAT training in order to build your career progression whilst working with us. The right candidate must have a positive, can-do attitude, be enthusiastic and have a desire to excel in this role.
The role will be Monday-Friday with 3 days from our offices in Chipstead and 2 days working from home. This will always remain under review dependent on company needs.
Starting Salary £28,000 dependent on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Graduate.
Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year.
