We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Residential Conveyancing Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our established and thriving property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to take the next step in their career with a progressive firm that values client service and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a full and varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction to post-completion with minimal supervision.
  • Handling sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, leasehold and freehold transactions.
  • Liaising effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors throughout the transaction process.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements including AML, SRA standards and GDPR.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, and reports on title.
  • Providing practical, clear and commercially sound legal advice to clients.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records using the firm’s case management system.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members or support staff as required.
  • Assisting with business development initiatives and helping to grow the team’s residential property offering.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years PQE in residential conveyancing, qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
  • A proven track record of handling a busy and varied caseload independently.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and commercial approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience using conveyancing case management systems.
  • A willingness to participate in the development of the department and wider firm.
