Senior Privacy lawyer / UK data protection law (PECR, UK GDPR, DPA 2018)

Part time 3 days a week – remote
12 month contract

Role Overview:
Manages DPO

Required Experience:

1. Comprehensive understanding of current UK data protection law (PECR, UK GDPR, DPA 2018) and proactive in learning about new developments
2. Application of UK data protection law principles to operations – e.g. analytics, data transfers, marketing, MI reporting
3. Use of a privacy platform for recording legal reviews of risk
4. Reviewing, drafting and negotiating data protection clauses and data transfer agreements
5. Understanding of individual rights under UK data protection law
6. Drafting and reviewing privacy notices

Beneficial:

1. Experience of using OneTrust for legal reviews of DPIAs and ROPA assessments
