Working Hours: Showroom Opening hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Saturday. Closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Showroom employees will have one weekday off each week.
Mandarin Stone is a leading importer of natural stone and porcelain products in the UK. We are a family run business that has grown into a very successful and reputable company within the industry. Our Head Office is based in the beautiful Wye Valley in the Welsh border town of Monmouth. We have 16 inspirational showrooms across the UK and are currently recruiting for a Sales Consultant in our Marlow Showroom.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and support for clients, guiding them through the buying process from first visit to aftercare.
- Provide expert advice on product range, meet design brief, offer consultative solutions.
- Seek solutions for customer tile projects, selecting best products.
- Build client relationships; track sale from enquiry, secure order, organise delivery.
- Work as part of a fast‑paced team offering product and technical advice.
- Answer customer calls, confirm orders, handle email inquiries, process payments.
- Arrange sample dispatch, chase sales leads, provide aftercare service.
Qualifications
- No prior industry experience required; training provided.
- Creative flair with eye for colour is an advantage.
- Self‑motivated, sales‑driven, able to prioritise tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High levels of organisation and computer literacy.
- Basic maths skills.
