We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer - Oil and Gas role in a Hertfordshire based mining & metals company. The firm specialises in procurement, worldwide supply and logistics. The role aims to employ technical and sales abilities to offer clients quotations and bids following negotiating with vendors from a technical and commercial standpoint, as well as to become a key point of contact for clients regarding Quotations and Purchase Orders on occasion. This role will be offered a performance-based commission with the basic salary.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering is desired but not essential.
  • Math, English, or Business Management A Levels are preferred.
  • Expertise in sales.
  • Background in technology.
  • Have a telephonic manner and meticulous.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Prioritizing a heavy workload.
  • Communication abilities, both vocal and written.
  • Should be a native English speaker, with a preference for Chinese.
