We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Mandarin Translation role in a London‑based Information Technology & Services company. The firm pioneers traceability to industrial supply chains that are complicated. The suitable candidate will be a native‑level Mandarin speaker with IT industry exposure.
Qualifications
- A master's degree and an IT background are required.
- GCSE A to C level or comparable education is required.
- Working knowledge of translation of Mandarin into English and vice versa.
- Mandarin and English proficiency (both spoken and written).
- Minimum two years of experience translating in a related field.
- IT industry expertise of at least two years.
- Entrepreneurial & self‑motivated.
- Exceptional precision and attention to detail.
- The capacity to form good cross‑departmental working relationships.
- Prioritization and organisation skills, as well as the capacity to meet deadlines.
- Internal and external communication skills.
- The capacity to communicate complicated procedures in non‑technical terms.
- Capacity to function under duress.
- The capacity to operate flexibly in response to the service's requirements.
