We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst – Trading Officer role in a London‑based logistics and supply chain company. The company has a worldwide network of suppliers and specialises in delivering raw materials and machinery to meet the demands of manufacturing enterprises in trade, marketing, logistics, finance, and post‑sales support.
The role requires working closely with designated operational support workers outside of the Trading Department. The company accepts PSW.
Qualifications- Prior experience in the trading/import/export business of plastics/rubber for at least 4–5 years.
- Expertise in procurement, particularly with Chinese vendors.
- Degree‑level education.
- Preferably understanding of shipping procedures, paperwork, and letters of credit.
- Strong written and oral Mandarin language skills.
- Structured, diligent, with demonstrated capacity to produce leads through a variety of channels and on own initiative.
- IT literate.
- Strong work ethic, with accountability and responsibility for the job.
- Very good organisational abilities, ability to operate under pressure and pay close attention to detail.
- Able to work beyond UK office hours to interact with Asian vendors.
