We have an exciting opportunity for a Settlement Officer role in a Financial services company. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary handling the treasury department for its parent company operating in the energy sector. The Settlement Officer is a significant post that reports to the Senior Manager and has a functional reporting line to Hong Kong's Head Office. This job is subject to a probationary period of 3 months.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Economics, Finance, Business Management, or a similar discipline is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience working at a significant bank's settlement or treasury department or a commodity house's treasury department.
  • Strong IT abilities and a strong grasp of the MS Office suite are required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Treasury department.
  • Fluency in Business Mandarin is required.
  • Understanding of issues/sanctions of international remittances of cash.
  • Demonstrated organisational and planning abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise work successfully.
  • Approachable with a shown desire and flexibility to assist the company as needed.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
