Senior Solution Engineer role in an Internet company based in Los Angeles. The firm is a leading comprehensive solution supplier of Web content and app delivery services, including Internet data centre management, Internet Exchange operations, and cloud hosting.
The organisation aims to employ self‑directed individuals capable of leading technical operations who will engage directly with the Sales team, are excellent at designing solutions for prospective clients, and will also work proactively with teams in both China and the US.
Job Requirements- Working knowledge of enterprise IT organisations
- Designing internet/web application solutions is a plus
- Understanding of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and routing protocols
- Knowledge of Apache, Nginx, and/or IIS
- Knowledge of browsing tools and web analysis, hosting architecture (load balancers, IDS/P, firewalls and so on)
- Knowledge of Linux commands and shell scripts
- Excellent communication abilities
- English proficiency is required
- Travel to customer meetings or conferences may be required
