We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive role in a Wholesale company based in Tokyo. It is a rapidly expanding importer, wholesaler, and distributor of Japanese food, supplying the food industry and retail chains in the UK and Europe with frozen food, drinks, and kitchen products.

The sales executive's primary responsibility is to market and sell WHF products and services to customers while adhering to legal requirements and recognised standards of food safety quality and management with a primary focus on sales to individual restaurants.

Job Requirements
  • Experience working in sales or customer support.
  • Knowledge of the wholesale trade is advantageous.
  • Understanding Japanese, Asian, and ethnic cuisine are advantageous.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Pegasus Opera 3, and advanced computer skills for data entry and communication (training to be provided as needed).
  • Customer-focused and dynamic.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of quickly responding to operational demands.
  • Language skills in Chinese are advantageous.
  • Willing to travel (preferred).
