We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Manager/Buyer role for a retail food company based in London. The Client is dedicated to delivering a diverse selection of luxury and modern groceries, as well as conventional and modern street food, to the consumer.
Responsibilities:
- Tracking off order confirmations
- Handling imports & order fulfillment
- Monitoring future product codes & barcodes
- Vendor order follow up & preparation notifications
- Getting actually buying phone conversations & emails
Qualifications:
- CIPS Level 3 or higher is needed (Level 4 desirable)
- Outstanding listening abilities
- Fluent in English and Chinese (desirable)
- Previous Purchasing/Buyer experience is needed (Food and Lifestyle products desirable)
- Strong negotiating and persuasion abilities
- Strong numeracy abilities
- Experience in management (desirable)
- Implementation of buying systems
- Awareness on how to set up a buying system
