We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer position with a Telecom company in London. Our client provides dependable end-to-end worldwide integrated telecommunication solutions, such as global connectivity services, global access to the internet, ICT services, cloud, internet of things (IoT), video conferencing and more.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new projects and initiatives related to network engineering.
- Decide on the technologies to bring a project from idea to completion.
- Lead and manage complex network design and maintenance projects.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise working as an IT Network Engineer on complex network design and maintenance projects.
- Knowledge of network products and services.
- Possession of a CCNP/HCNP certificate, or an equivalent level, is preferred.
- Knowledge of network security (IPS/IDS/DDOS/WAF/SSL/Firewall/VPN).
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
- Approachable personality and willingness to assist in all fields.
- Excellent multitasking abilities and capacity to operate well under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team, and be a dynamic, hardworking quick learner.
- A degree in a relevant Information Technology or Computing discipline is required, or adequate experience must be demonstrated.
- Certificates in networking such as CCIE and HCIE are preferred.
