We have an exciting opportunity for a Membership Officer role in a London-based Renewable Energy Semiconductor Manufacturing company. It is an international organisation that collaborates with a multidisciplinary network of water experts and partners to build a world that is water-wise.
The organisation is now looking for a membership officer to join and act as a key member of the membership fulfilment group and as a contact point for existing and potential members. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, responsive, and customer-focused.
Qualifications- Authorization to work in the UK.
- Educated to degree level or professional certification with minimum 2 years of work experience (e.g., customer service), ideally in a membership organisation, client relations setting, communications, or related sector.
- Experience running reports and collecting and analysing data using CRM systems.
- Fluency in Chinese and or Mandarin.
- Working knowledge of numerous digital and communication channels.
- Reliable commute or make plans to move before starting a job (required).
- Proactive and capable of taking independent action.
- Awareness of the idea of 'membership' together with previous experience working with these networks and/or a desire to learn.
- Experience managing inquiries with tact and diplomacy when working for a membership/professional group or in a customer-focused workplace.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations.
- Excel adept (knowledge of Pivot table would be very useful), Word processing software.
- A strong sense of human relations and communication, including the ability to write and speak clearly (in English).
- Self-starter, analytical mind, upbeat attitude, and adaptability to handle pressure peaks.
- Adaptable team member with a sense of cultural sensitivity.
