We have an exciting opportunity for a Settlement Officer role in a Financial services company. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary handling the treasury department for its parent company operating in the energy sector. The Settlement Officer is a significant post that reports to the Senior Manager and has a functional reporting line to Hong Kong's Head Office. This job is subject to a probationary period of 3 months.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Economics, Finance, Business Management, or a similar discipline is required.
- Strong IT abilities and a strong grasp of the MS Office suite are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated experience working in a Treasury department.
- Fluency in Business Mandarin is required.
- Understanding of issues/sanctions of international remittances of cash.
- Demonstrated organisational and planning abilities.
- Ability to prioritise work successfully.
- Approachable with a shown desire and flexibility to assist the company as needed.
