We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer in a UK-based EV Battery company. It features a diverse product line that includes lithium phosphate battery manufacture, design, and sales.
Job requirements and qualifications:
- Experience with mechanical engineering for at least 2 years is desired.
- Experience in 2D/3D design software, preferably ProE/Creo.
- Experience with pneumatics, electronic, and mechanical components such as sensors, motors, and cylinders is required.
- Laser welding, thermal design, and mechanical strength design in lithium batteries will be a huge benefit.
- Ability to converse with Chinese vendors in Mandarin.
- Prepared to continue for at least 5 years and receive extensive training.
- Able to commute regularly or make plans to relocate before commencing employment.
