We have an exciting opportunity for a Java Developer (Full-Stack) role in a London-based Capital Markets company. This market‑leading provider delivers best‑in‑class implementation algorithmic trading, smart order processing, and transactional cost analysis services to a wide range of clients, including global investment banks and specialty brokers. To support its UK operations, the company is looking for a talented and experienced individual to monitor, manage and grow the services, as well as contribute to the brand’s global expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, manage and grow the services supporting UK operations.
  • Contribute to the brand’s global expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience creating high‑performance Java1.8+ applications, with knowledge of concurrency and distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding and expertise with integration and system testing, operating in a CI/CD setup, and using distributed version control solutions.
  • Proficiency in reactive programming with object‑oriented design.
  • Working understanding of Linux and Docker.
  • Experience with Maven, Spring, JMS, and proficiency with Gradle and Kafka is a plus.
  • Relational database knowledge such as MySQL, Hive.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; self‑motivated with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a huge plus.
  • Financial market background.
