We have an exciting opportunity for an Energy Policy Manager role in a Renewables and Environment organisation. The company's mission is to improve sustainable energy and hydropower by developing its role in renewable energy sources, ethical freshwater management, and climate science solutions. It is now seeking a Chinese-speaking Energy Policy Manager to join its Research and Policy team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a comparable policy/analyst job with a track record of substantial accomplishments is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical markets and/or policy, particularly with governments, corporations, investors, or project financiers.
  • Experience in East Asia/Pacific is preferred.
  • Have the capacity to think and act creatively to uncover membership and revenue prospects.
  • Outstanding project management and organisational abilities.
  • Working under duress and meeting deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and dedicated to maintaining high standards.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate as a team member across cultures and stakeholder groups.
  • Willingness to often travel worldwide.
