We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Procurement role in a Building Materials based in Leeds. The firm specializes in various kinds of flooring. The objective of the role is to procure goods, materials, and services from vendors in the EU, UK, and China and ensure that the company's operating needs are satisfied while taking pricing, quality, and delivery into consideration, and maintaining supply consistency.

Job Requirements:

  • A professional degree in business or commerce or engineering or manufacturing is desired.
  • Prior minimum 1-year work experience in a buying team is advantageous.
  • Excellent purchasing, negotiating, commercial awareness, and cost breakdown skills.
  • Worked extensively with vendors in the past.
  • Computer savvy with superior Excel abilities/skills.
  • Mandarin speaker is required.
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining successful and productive relationships with employees, stakeholders, and suppliers.
