Senior IT System Engineer role for an IT company based in London. Our client is a world‑leading provider of innovative security products and solutions, specializing in video and audio decoding, video image recognition, data management, and cutting‑edge technologies such as cloud computing, data analytics, and deep learning.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the deployment and operation of business network infrastructure and network reliability.
  • Experience managing large‑scale network programs.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking and routing technologies.
  • Setup and maintenance of network devices (connectors, switches, firewalls, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of network security infrastructure and proficiency in network protocol research techniques.
  • Mastery in 4‑7 layer routing, load balancing, Web server firewall technology, virtualization software, and related technologies.
  • CCIE certification is favoured.
  • First‑hand knowledge of network troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Extensive knowledge of desktop device configuration and debugging.
  • Strong listening and teamwork abilities.
