We have an exciting opportunity for a Chinese Social Media & Branding Assistant role for an eCommerce company based in Glasgow. The company is rapidly expanding and seeks an individual who can collaborate with the marketing team to build brand awareness and social media presence in the Chinese market.

Responsibilities:

  • Build brand awareness and social media presence in the Chinese market.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop tailored content for Chinese consumers.
  • Produce and edit image and video content using tools such as Photoshop and Final Cut Pro.
  • Manage paid media campaigns targeting the Chinese audience.
  • Analyze performance data using Excel, Google Analytics, Baidu Analytics, and Weibo reporting tools.
  • Report insights and provide recommendations to drive cross-border commerce digital marketing.
  • Maintain a methodical and organized approach to time management and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with strong writing, speaking, and reading skills in both languages.
  • Experience in brand marketing or agency work is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media.
  • Excellent copywriting abilities relevant to the beauty and fashion industries.
  • Proficient with image and video editing applications (e.g., Photoshop, Final Cut Pro).
