We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Purchasing Manager role for a food retail company based in London. Our client is one of the UK's leading East Asian food retailers. Experience in food retail is necessary for the role.

As a Purchasing Manager, you'll help with the organizational objectives of the multiple stores across London.

Qualifications
  • Experience in food retail is essential.
  • Experience or knowledge in FMCG and buying environment in the food industry.
  • Mandarin, Cantonese, or Chinese speaking essential.
  • Strong people skills, including mentoring, supporting, and coaching junior and new team members.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to work with personnel of all levels and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with staff and external suppliers.
