Our client is a global leader in financial research support for top investment banks and buy‑side firms. Their global team of experts is dedicated to assisting businesses and partners in achieving their objectives. The client will receive on‑site assistance from the financial interpreter. The translator will act as an extension of the client's team, providing reliable and timely translations of the assigned English language work into simplified Mandarin (and vice‑versa).

Requirements:

  • Sell‑side research (equity), buy‑side research, PE fund research, or editorial experience are all desirable.
  • A bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required, as well as excellent Mandarin language editing and writing skills.
  • Experience with translation software or the ability to learn and use a variety of tools for translation and publishing activities are also desirable.
  • Experience in financial institutions, specifically in the equity research domain, is required, with a minimum of 3 years and preferably 5‑6 years of translation/editing experience.
  • Strong translation skills from English to Chinese (Simplified Mandarin).
  • High attention to detail, an emphasis on efficiency and precision, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Awareness of international capital markets at a high level.
  • Highly competitive, with the ability to work well in a group environment.
  • Self‑motivated self‑starter with sound work ethics who can work independently or with limited supervision.
  • Organizational and project management skills are required.
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and other MS Office software, as well as excellent desktop publishing skills.
