We have an exciting opportunity for an Event Manager role for a Dubai-based Events Services company. It is a worldwide agency network that has evolved into one of the most effective independent global agency networks, bringing together best‑in‑class immersive design, tech and digital, communication, and production capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead event/project production and management via Critical Time Path (CTP) methodologies.
- Track and manage project activities, monitor and implement project risks.
- Oversee both internal and external teams.
- Control project budgets of £50,000 or more.
- Administer logistics and coordination for live events.
- Collaborate with the creative department to translate client concepts into execution.
- Manage subcontractors, freelancers, and other external resources.
Qualifications
- Extensive expertise in event and project management.
- Exceptional communicator in written, spoken, and presentation formats.
- Fluent in written and spoken business English.
- Expertise in client relationship and account management.
- Significant experience with live events such as exhibition stands, pavilions, conferences, and activations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other IT tools.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Working knowledge of supply chain logistics.
- Problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Understanding of health and security processes for live events and stand construction, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
- Knowledge of design processes and experience with creative department collaboration.
- Experience responding to RFPs, generating new business, tender offers, and pitching for new business.
- Experience managing subcontractors, freelancers, and outside resources.
