We are an award-winning medical equipment manufacturing company looking for a Development Manager to understand and address customer demands in a fast-paced, small-team startup setting.
Requirements:
- Rapid prototyping experience (ALM/3DP/SLS)
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Creo)
- Ph.D., master’s, or bachelor’s in mechanical, biomedical, aerospace, or automotive engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience
- Solid background in medical device development (preferred)
- Intellectual versatility and creativity; prioritised regardless of skill level
- Proven record of successful product development
- Strong technical skills in developing mechanical systems
- Knowledge of medical device marketing channels, plans, and policies
- Outstanding project-management and organisational abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group
- Capability to meet deadlines and ensure team members and partners do as well
- Capacity to collaborate with the broader team to drive and prioritise projects
- Eligible to work and live in the UK
