We have an exciting opportunity for a wholesale company. This is a thriving business that specializes in the design, production, and distribution of licensed cinematic, gaming, and comics goods. The company is looking for an Assistant Designer who will work on both clothing and hard items. From start to finish, the position holder will be involved in the design process, including generating original concepts, preparing tech packs, connecting with factories, organising shipment, and inspecting finished goods.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or an HND in fashion designing (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of useful fashion design experience is required, as well as a solid Design Portfolio.
  • A keen sense of style and detail.
  • Highly creative, with a passion for fashion and product design.
  • Exceptional Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop expertise.
  • Good time management and organisation abilities.
  • Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a design team.
  • Self-driven and an excellent communicator.
  • A good team player that is eager to learn.
  • Willing to go to China as well as other countries if necessary.
  • The ability to communicate in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is extremely desirable.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
