We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Retail Facilities/ Compliance Officer role for a food retails company based in London. Our client is one of the UK's leading East Asian food retailers.
Responsibilities
- As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for the Facilities team and ensuring a safe working and compliant atmosphere for our customers and staff. This involves compliance with legislation and processes relating to health and safety, food protection, regulatory, contractual, and business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar legal compliance/facility role.
- Food Safety Level 3 or H&S trained to the IOSH standard.
- Experience in operating within a commercial food environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communicate clearly with the store managers, senior managers, and all staff.
- Able to write and analyze legislation and respond accordingly.
- Intermediate Excel skills and basic Word skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with contractors.
- Capability to work unsupervised and take responsibility.
- Able to remain calm under pressure.
- Detailed and flexible in both written skills and time management.
- Good organizational skills.
