For an exciting opportunity with a well‑known import and distribution company in Biggleswade, we seek a Food Production Support Manager. The client is a pan‑Asian food distributor that operates an end‑to‑end distribution network, managing manufacturers from start to finish and centralising hundreds of different chains on a regular basis, ranging from normal to cold‑chain products.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for ensuring that all products produced are safe, legal, and meet the company's specifications.
- Implementing and maintaining good manufacturing practices in the factory in accordance with company procedures and BRC standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory/team management experience, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Working experience in a food factory environment.
- Working experience in the food industry.
- It is preferable to have Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene and Level 2 HACCP.
