We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying and Operations Coordinator role in a Consumer Goods company based in Brooklyn. The firm creates unique private label items, selected gifts-with-purchase, creative packaging, and smart promotional items. To support our major clients, the Buying and Operations Coordinator will work on a spectrum of premium brands in the UK and Europe.

The ideal applicant will have a thorough grasp of Chinese manufacturing, high-end customers, and the cosmetics business.

Job Requirements
  • A minimum of two years experience in the industry
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Worked directly with Chinese and Indian manufacturers in the past
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Electronic data interchange (EDI) is a skill that you should have
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Multi-tasking skills and the ability to operate in a startup setting
  • Detail-oriented and solution-oriented
  • Knowledge of Chinese manufacturing, as well as UK/EU compliance, is essential
