Exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager role in a London based Computer Software company. This AI startup uses multimodal systems to offer AI solutions for software and hardware. The Business Development Manager will stimulate a company's growth by altering the business plan and business model, placing new projects in line, and ensuring that R&D, Sales and Marketing teams are ready to take on new growth prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Stimulate company growth by altering the business plan and business model.
  • Place new projects in line and coordinate with R&D, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of business development or retail experience in AI or a related area.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, finance or a related field.
  • Experience in the China and Middle East markets is a distinct advantage.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new clients.
  • Proven track record of regularly generating yearly revenue of at least $1 million.
  • Management and writing experience with bids, legal papers and business reports.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, interpersonal communication and negotiating skills.
  • Team player with excellent organisational abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Capability to deliver captivating presentations.
  • English proficiency, both written and spoken, and fluency in Chinese and/or Arabic is an advantage.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other similar programmes.
  • Interest in technological items.
