We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst role in a London-based banking company. The role involves supporting new Market Data platforms and collaborating with technology to develop first-class solutions for the business. This is a prominent financial market and commodity bank that specialises in global market tradable products, with specialisation on frontier and developing market jurisdictions that span continents.
Job Requirements:
- Ideally, have a bachelor's degree or comparable education and able to communicate in Mandarin.
- Strong understanding of Market Data needs, as well as Risk, Finance, and Operational procedures and requirements.
- Knowledge of or expertise with the bank's main platforms, such as Asset Control, Calypso, Murex and Xenomorph is preferred.
- Knowledge of market risk procedures like VAR, Incremental Risk Charge, Stress and Back Testing.
- Knowledge of various Product Control business activities such as IPV and Bid/Offer provision.
- Working exposure in identifying business needs and creating both commercial and operational requirements.
- A demonstrated track record of project completion throughout the whole project lifetime, from concept to testing to deployment including the collaboration of geographically dispersed groups and providing complicated functionality in a high-pressure situation.
- A person having the capacity to persuade and influence others while adhering to beliefs and ideas via the use of expertise and technology.
- Capable to meet client expectations and delivering outcomes.
- Capable of adapting and reacting to change, managing stress and setbacks.
- Succinct and eloquent communicator (both written and vocal).
- Capable of dealing with and influencing a diverse variety of stakeholders at various levels.
- Has a keen eye for detail and the ability to comprehend issues well enough to communicate them to the top management.
